Bolivia is called “the heart of South America” because it's located in the center of the continent. It is bordered to the north and east by Brazil, to the southeast by Paraguay, to the south by Argentina, to the southwest by Chile, and to the northwest by Peru. One-third of the country is within the Andean mountain range. It's a beautiful country with several national parks in Amazon areas and the salt desert Uyuni. You can also visit Lake Iguassu (Paraguay) and Machupichu (Peru) within two hours by airplane. The largest city of the country is Santa Cruz.
