The city of São Paulo is the capital of the state of the same name. The capital of São Paulo has 12 million inhabitants, being the most populous in Brazil. It is inserted in the Atlantic Forest biome, having a predominantly humid Subtropical climate. The weather, however, can change sharply during the day.
São Paulo is the 21st economy in the world, and the 3rd largest in Latin America. Due to its economic structure and the dense network of transport and services that guarantee the connection with different parts of the world, São Paulo is a great attraction for international investments, second only to centers such as New York, Hong Kong, London and Shanghai.
